Free for NGOs Community Service Programme

Humanitarian Media Grant

Midrand News is part of the PR Daddy News Grid — a network of South Africa's most authoritative local news publications. As a community service, we offer a Humanitarian Media Grant that covers the full cost of press release distribution for registered non-profit and humanitarian organisations in Midrand and across South Africa.

Who qualifies for the grant?

  • Registered NPOs, NGOs, and Section 21 companies
  • Community development and social welfare organisations
  • Environmental, health, and education causes
  • Faith-based organisations serving the public good
  • Humanitarian aid and disaster relief organisations

What does the grant cover?

The grant provides a free distribution code that waives the standard submission fee for one or more press releases. Approved organisations receive full distribution across Midrand News and the broader PR Daddy News Grid, reaching audiences in Midrand, Gauteng, and nationally across South Africa.
